Where do you get your style inspiration from?

I get my style inspiration from my Mum, women I pass on the street and women I see in magazines/social media etc… Style is all around us and I soak it up daily!

Your go to feel good piece in your wardrobe?

My go-to feel good piece for this time of year is a cashmere poloneck from Rails. It is so so soft, and super warm. It’s also that lovely anthracite grey colour with wide sleeves so looks great over everything.

What inspired you to get into the influencer world?

I got into Instagram by chance… My husband suggested I channel my love of fashion into an Instagram page and @fashionablyfortyish was born an hour later! And hour after that I had six followers… Cripes! I didn’t know what the opportunities were with Instagram at the time, I had no idea what I was doing, and I didn’t tell anyone I had this pseudonym for weeks!, but it all rolled out very organically and I’m so grateful that I get to do something I love every day!

Piece of advice for budding young influencers …

It’s hard work, so be prepared to work hard all the time. Be kind to all. Support Irish where and when you can. And most of all, enjoy it! It’s very obvious to all when you look like you’re not enjoying it and if that happens, take a break and reset.

Easy!! The Dabbi boot in silver… Adding them to my wishlist. They are COOL!

When did you come across Divine.

I first came across Divine on @ystyle’s page and the rest is history!
