Pink appeared across all the catwalks these past couple of seasons. It is a Colour that encompasses feminity and holds a touch a warmth. Having avoided it for years with the paranoia that I would look “princessy” or Barbie Esque I am constantly drawn to it. When I look back on many milestones, unbeknownst to me I wore pink !! (My 21st, my 30th, both my boys christenings!!) I didn’t realize at the time I was such a lover of pink. What I love now is the Introduction of beige/Camel/ khaki tones with pink for a more paired down look.

Here are a few of my Must haves that arrived this week and I am in love 💖

  1. I’ll start with this gorgeous little pleated number. I just love an oversized dress, the absolute comfort. Now … word of warning it is short (I’m 5 foot 7/8 not quite sure !) but it has a shorts underlay which makes it playsuit /mini!! It is also longer at the back allowing some modesty. I love the pairing of khaki with fresh pastel shades. Flowers, pleats & mini, this dress is a definite summer winner.

  2. Now this I adore! I know I said I didn’t want to look princessy then I don a powder pink floaty dress 😂 but I am channeling the boho vibes rather than princess (I hope 🤭) this light chiffon dress with gold print and long voluminous sleeves with elastic at the cuffs is comfy and flowy and I will enjoy adding a heel or a wearing daytime with flats or adding my favoutite sand studded ankle boots. I love a dress I can wear night or day!

  3. I am absolutely loving this bold & bright print. Not always a huge bold floral fan I just love the mix of pinks & greens. A gorgeous option for a summer wedding or the fantastic thing about a jumpsuit is you can dress it down for Any summer occasion. A crop wide leg and flutter sleeve to flatter all shapes & sizes.

Don’t you just love a nice blouse? A top that dresses up your favourite jeans when all you want is comfort. Then you can transform your look with  a skirt or dressy trousers or whatever suits your mood. This pink blouse is made of the most comfortable fabric and shape and a beautiful dusty shade of pink with an interesting oriental vibe print. Worn here with my “go-to” French connection jeans and also with my pink suede Lily skirt which is a tiny bit short for me but please don’t judge 🙈🥰 (on a side note I just know I will wear this skirt to death in winter with black opaques and black knit when I need something to brighten up my winter wardrobe !!)

The message is .. don’t dismiss pink! Make it work for your style and wardrobe.
